Turkish and Taffy
Laredo the lone turkey was the son of Turkish and Taffy.
He was a solitary, sojourning, wayfaring, wandering voyager.
The only survivor of a hatch gone wrong.
Taffy was not the motherly type.
Turns out that I was.
He explored and wondered for a summer in our barnyard.
He was my shadow for most of it.
